Robert C. Harvey
Robert C. Harvey (1937–2022) was a comics historian, critic, and cartoonist who wrote for The Comics Journal, Comics Buyers’ Guide, and Cartoonist PROfiles. Among his books are Milton Caniff: Conversations, The Art of the Funnies: An Aesthetic History, The Art of the Comic Book: An Aesthetic History, Insider Histories of Cartooning: Rediscovering Forgotten Famous Comics and Their Creators, and Accidental Ambassador Gordo: The Comic Strip Art of Gus Arriola, all published by University Press of Mississippi.
