Megan Feifer
Megan Feifer is a Teacher-Scholar in Residence at the bell hooks center at Berea College. Her research and teaching interests focus on the counter-archives contemporary Afro-diasporic writers produced in response to what Anne McClintock terms the “official ghosting,” or inability/unwillingness of nations to confront and account for the “past.” Her work has been published in Palimpsest: A Journal on Women, Gender, and the Black International; Bloomsbury Handbook to Edwidge Danticat; and Revisiting the Elegy in the Black Lives Matter Era. She is cofounder of the Edwidge Danticat Society and cocreator of bellhooksarchive.com, a digital repository of select artifacts from the bell hooks papers currently housed in the Special Collections and Archives of Berea College.
