Kameelah L. Martin

Kameelah L. Martin is professor of African American studies and English at the College of Charleston. She is author of Envisioning Black Feminist Voodoo Aesthetics: African Spirituality in American Cinema and coeditor of The Lemonade Reader, an interdisciplinary collection exploring the nuances of Beyoncé’s 2016 visual album.
