Join Dr. Ryan Meili, Canadian physician and former leader of the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party, as he discusses his new book, A Healthy Future: Lessons from the Frontlines of a Crisis.
The book is a gripping account of the COVID-19 experience in Saskatchewan goes beyond pandemic memoir to draw lessons we can use to create a healthier future. Ryan Meili provides a unique and important perspective as both a doctor and the leader of Saskatchewan’s official opposition during the worst of the pandemic. Join this intimate conversation with him to hear his thoughts on the political response, how real people’s lives were affected, and his inspiring vision for how we can do better in the future.
This is a free event open to the public. It will take place in-person and will not include a virtual or live streamed component. Please only register if you intend to attend at the downtown Toronto location of 20 Dundas Street West. Details about how to access the space will be emailed to registered attendees 24 hours in advance of the event.
Attendees will be able to ask questions to Dr. Meili and purchase a signed copy of his new book, A Healthy Future: Lessons from the Frontlines of a Crisis during the latter half of the event.
